To Add a Remark to a Work Request

The Workflow Manager component can be configured to support work request remarks that are used in an external work management system. The Workflow Manager can retrieve these remarks and then send them back to the work management system if you update them.

Remarks are displayed on the Remarks page of the New Work Request dialog box as well as the Work Request Properties dialog box.

The Add button on the Remarks page opens the Add/Change Remark dialog box, which lets you manually add remarks to the work request and make certain changes to existing remarks.

  1. Open the New Work Request dialog box or the Work Request Properties dialog box.
  2. Click the Remarks tab to open the Remarks page.
  3. Click the Add button to open the Add/Change Remark dialog box.
  4. In the Remark Type box, select the type of remark that you want to add.
  5. In the Remark Text box, type your remark and then click OK.
